Our
meetings are held every Tuesday from noon
till 1 PM at Masterson's Restaurant, 1830
South Third Street in Louisville. No RSVP is
necessary. This summer we are instead
meeting every other week. See our calendar
on the Welcome Page. Please join us! Occasionally we
skip a meeting for a Day at the Downs, Golf
Outing or other special event. It's best to email
for information.
Each week
at the Optimist Club Luncheon, a featured speaker presents a program. Each
speaker receives an Optimist plaque with the Optimist Creed as a
"thank you."
Above
and below are shown some of our members. Membership is
$100 annually, payable quarterly. The luncheon fee is
$10.50 for a full buffet meal, or $7.50 for
the soup and salad bar.
Attending luncheons is a great way to become
more familiar with community events,
programs and personalities, not to mention
getting to know fellow members.
